Mrs. Shirley Marie Sloan was born February 3, 1945, in Floyd County, Indiana to the late Archie and Blanche Foster Knight. She departed this life Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab Center, having attained the age of seventy-seven years, two months, and twenty-four days.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Donald Sloan and her son: James Sloan.
She is survived by three daughters: Dawn Lott and her husband William of Booneville, North Carolina, Angela Conard and her husband Shane of Waynesville, North Carolina and Kim Fields of Elizabethtown, KY one sister: Mary Borders of Elizabethtown, KY, five grandchildren: Marie Thomas, Michael Thomas, Rebekah Lott, Katherine Lott, and Averie Lott, and four great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Shirley Marie Sloan will be conducted 2 p.m. Central Time Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Maple Hill Cemetery in the Mell Community of Green County. Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in in charge of the arrangements.
