Mrs. Shirley Temple Davis Pepper was born, September 6, 1935, in Green County, Kentucky to the late Lucian and Dollie McKinney Davis.  She departed this life Saturday, April 23, 2022, having attained the age of eighty-six years, seven months and seventeen days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Sand Lick Separate Baptist Church.  She enjoyed cooking.  Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Pepper, one sister:  Ann Atwell and one brother:  Ernie Davis.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Tommy and Sharon Pepper; one daughter and son-in-law: Susan and Bobby Scott all of Greensburg; five grandchildren: Joe Calhoun, Lynn Bankard, Will Calhoun, Carrie Hughes, Amy Bloyd; ten great-grandchildren: Amber Abell, Halie Hall, Colton Hughes, Molly Hughes, Emily Luttrell, Jacob Treece, Sarah Jo Calhoun, Kenneth Bankard, Jacob Bankard, and Jacob Scott; two great-great grandchildren:  Holland Hall and Silas Abell, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Temple Davis Pepper will be conducted 10 A.M., Central Time, Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with burial in the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Richie Curtis and Colton Hughes will be officiating.

Visitation is requested from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Central Time, Monday, April 25, 2022, and after 7 a.m., Central Time, Tuesday, April 26, 2022

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. These can be made at the funeral home.
