Ruth Jean (Murdock) Coomer

Mrs. Ruth Jean Murdock Coomer , age 76 passed away Friday, in Mesa, Arizona. She was born to the late John Edwin Murdock and Ruth Maria Akhurst Murdock on August 19, 1944 in New York City, New York.

She is preceded in death by her parents John Edwin Murdock, Ruth Maria Akhurst Murdock, and one brother John David Murdock.

She is survived by her husband Richard Coomer; two step-daughters: Sandy Selk and Pamela Coomer; two sons: Joe Coomer and Richard Short; three grandchildren: Brandy Roberts, Alicia Miller, and Michael Childers; two great grandsons: Jacob Miller and Lucas Miller; one nephew: Erik Murdock; three nieces: Kristense Oberle and her husband R. Scott Oberle, Marta Moore, and Liennea Lindsey; and many great and great great nieces and nephews; one brother-law: Donnie Coomer and his wife Judy of Greensburg; one sister-in-law: Pricilla Bailey of Beckley, West Virgina. Plus, a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
