Ricky Dale Thompson was born October 20, 1958 in Taylor County, KY to Bernice Martin Thompson of Greensburg and the late William Frank Thompson. He departed this life Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, having attained the age of sixty-one years and seventeen days.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He worked as a bookkeeper at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg. Besides his father, he is preceded in death by one brother: William Thompson and one nephew: Ryan Thompson.
He is survived by his mother: Bernice Martin Thompson, nephew: Dale Thompson of Summersville, special friends: Brenda Judd, Mary Posey, Aleicia Posey, Martha Price, Myrna Quisenberry and Craig Whitlock.
