Mary Ann Simpson

Mrs. Mary Ann Simpson was born May 19, 1955 in Russell County, KY to the late Herman and Irene Johnson Hall. She departed this life Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the University of Louisville Hospital, having attained the age of fifty-eight years, seven months and three days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Living Word Faith Church.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law: Ronnie and his wife Crystal DeSpain of Bardstown and James Benningfield and Allison Spaw of Willisburg; three daughters and one son-in-law: Dianne Benningfield and Sharon Simpson of Greensburg and Faye and Chris Ambach of LaGrange, Kentucky; five sisters: Ambial of Russell County, Kentucky, Lettie Herman of Greensburg, Opal Appleby of Jamestown, Kentucky, Betty McQueary and Wanda Sharp of Liberty, Kentucky; eleven grandchildren: Keaton DeSpain and Katelyn DeSpain, Jenna Aikman, Hunter Taylor, Lucas Taylor, and Dixie Rose Taylor, Destiny, Dillian Spaw and Dalton Spaw, Logan Ambach and Wesley Lane Ambach, one great grandchild: Aaron Phillips, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Simpson will be conducted 1 P.M., Central Time, Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Guy Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Separate Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation is requested from 4 until 8 P.M., Central Time, Monday and after 7 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
