Mary Lee Henry

Mrs. Mary Lee Henry was born May 29, 1934 in Green County, KY to the late Henry Leslie Miller and Edna Shively. She departed this life Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louiville, having attained the age of eighty-two years, six months and eight days.

Mrs. Henry had made a profession of Faith in Christ and was a member of the 2nd Baptist Church in Greensburg. She was president of the Usher Board, cooked for many gatherings with her signature chocolate cake. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, KY. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband George Houston Henry.

She is survived by one son, three daughters and one son-in-law: David Henry of Greensburg, Constance Dickerson and Angela Litsey of Louisville and Carolyn and Jerry Ingram of Greensburg, three grandchildren;; Leah and Mike Moore, George Allen “G.A.” and Mardice Ingram and Aisha and Andre Foster and two great grandchildren; Judah Moore and Isaiah Foster, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lee Henry will be conducted 12 p.m. central time Sunday at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. James Jackson and Rev. Louis Henry officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Community Cemetery in Greensburg.

The wake and visitation will be conducted Saturday from 6 pm til 8 pm Central at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the Old Community Cemetery. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.
