Mary Deloris Gowen

Mary Deloris Gowen was born April 9, 1935 in Green County, KY to the late Jessie Carl Gowen and Audrey Lee Wilkerson. She departed this life Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY, having attained the age of eighty-two years, seven months and nineteen days.
Mrs. Gowen had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Cecilia United Methodist Church, Cecilia, KY. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers: Joe and Linwood Gowen and one sister: Margie Noe.
She is survived by two nephews and four nieces: Fred Gowen and his wife Barbara of Hodgenville, Sheila Cull and her husband Don and Donna Mellick of Louisville, Rosie Buechel and her husband Renee’ of Bardstown, Susie Noe of New Albany, Indiana, Dinky Gowen and his wife Jennifer of Sonora and several great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Central Time Friday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home. In accordance with the wishes of Mrs Gowen, there will be no funeral service and burial will be private in Bethlehem Cemetery.
