Lucille Edwards Stitzel

Mrs. Lucille Edwards Stitzel was born May 8, 1919 in Green County, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Cora Squires Edwards. She departed this life Sunday, November 4, 2012 in Louisville, Kentucky, having attained the age of ninetythree years, five months and twenty-six days.

She retired as an accounting clerk from Brown and Williamson. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Paul Stitzel, one brother: O.C. "Buck" Edwards and two sisters: Elizabeth Shaffner and Carolyn Crookshank.

She is survived by one sister-in-law: Loretta Edwards of Greensburg; one brother-in-law: Bob Shaffner of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; three nephews and their wives: Steve and Camellia Edwards; Rick and Savonna Edwards of Greensburg and Tony and Sharon Edwards of Lawrenceburg; two nieces: Janet Spalding and Marcia Cowart.

There will be a graveside service conducted at 1 p.m., Central Time, Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Summer Shade Cemetery.

The Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
