Logan Smith was born June 10, 1952 in Green County, KY to the late Belknap and Mary Cordelia Logan Smith. He departed this life Friday, February 8, 2019 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, having attained the age of sixty-six years, seven months and twenty-eight days.
He professed his faith in Christ at an early age and joined Mt Vernon Baptist Church in Adair County, KY. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters: Robert Smith, Lettie Pearl Caldwell, James Henry Smith, John Ike Smith, Raymond Smith, William Louis Smith, Mary Lucy Barnett and Anna Smith.
He is survived by two daughters: Christy Smith Davis and her husband Freeman of Louisville and Melissa Taylor of Campbellsville, one brother: Jewell Smith and his wife Norlene of Richmond, nine grandchildren, plus a host of nieces and nephews.
