Lewis Dayton Vanfossen

Lewis Dayton VanFossen was born August 31, 1948 in Rushville, Ohio to the late Dayton and Charlotte Heskitt VanFossen. He departed this life Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at his home in Green County, having attained the age of sixty-nine years, seven months and two days.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the United Bretheren Church in Ohio. He was a United States Army Veteran and served in the National Guard for six years. He was a retired Machine Technician at Amazon. He coached PeeWee League Football in Louisville, KY for several years. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother: John VanFossen.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Stephens VanFossen, two brothers: Elson, Herb and one sister: Stella VanFossen, all of Ohio, plus a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Central Time Monday, April 23 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. William Davenport officiating.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. Central Time Monday until the funeral hour at 10 a.m. at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.
