Letha Marie Dewitt

Mrs. Letha Marie DeWitt was born July 16, 1934 in Green County, Kentucky to the late Junie Allen Acree and Mae Della Estes Acree. She departed this life Tuesday, March 3, 2020 in Lexington, KY, having attained the age of eighty-five years, seven months and twenty days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.  She retired from Fruit of the Loom.  Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters:  Doris Patterson and Jean Simpson and three brothers Odell, Bob and Cosby Acree.

She is survived by one son:  Richard DeWitt and his fiancé:  Theresa Metten of Mt. Sherman, one daughter:  Patti DeWitt of Lexington, two sisters:  Jane McCubbins of Campbellsville and Sarah Brockman of Lebanon and one granddaughter:  Mai Lin DeWitt of Lexington, plus a host of other relatives and friends

A graveside service for Mrs. Letha Marie DeWitt will be conducted at 9 a.m. Central Time Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Fry Cemetery with Bro. Nathan Crawford officiating.  Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Central Time Thursday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.
