Lawton Taylor “Junie” Davis, Jr. was born March 29, 1954 in Jefferson County, Kentucky to the late Lawton Taylor Davis, Sr. and Edith Ritchie Davis. He departed this life Saturday, April 10, 2021 at his home in Louisville, having attained the age of age sixty-seven years and eleven days.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the United Methodist Church on Rockridge Road in Shelbyville, KY. He retired from Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Georgetown, KY. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War Era. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister: Brenda Sue Davis.
He is survived by his wife: Susan Yvonne Griffin Davis, two sons: Christopher and Michael Davis, of Louisville, two brothers: Michael Tyrone Davis of Taylorsville and Mark Steven Davis of Louisville, two sisters: Kimberly Lou Bishop of Cynthiana and Twila Elaine Cowles of Louisville, two grandchildren: Amber Yvonne Bussell and Auburn Michelle Davis and two great grandchildren: Nora Rainn Bussell and Lorelei Wrenn Bussell, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Burial: Judd Cemetery, Grab Community of Green County with Military Honors
