Lassie Bagby Schmidt

Mrs. Lassie Bagby Schmidt was born February 10, 1930 in Green County, KY to the late Beckham and Lela Acree Bagby. She departed this life Friday at the Louisa Health and Rehab in Louisa, Virginia, having attained the age of eighty-six years, six months and nine days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Robert "Bob" Schmidt, five brothers and one sister: James, Ellis, Ruppert, JR Bagby, Dimple Mosz and Vernon Bagby, one sister-in-law: Maple Bagby.

She is survived by two daughters: Gail Weber of Virginia and Sandy Schmidt of Campbellsville, two grandchildren: Bobby Erhardt of Maryland and Suzie Erhardt of Campbellsville, four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Shirley Bagby of Greensburg, Billie Bagby of Colorado, Clydene Bagby of Campbellsville, Eugene Mosz of Campbellsville and Elva Jo Bagby of Greensburg, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lassie Bagby Schmidt will be conducted 10 a.m. central time Thursday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Wilburn Bonta officiating. Burial will follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery in the Exie Community of Green County.

Friends of Mrs. Lassie Bagby Schmidt may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Central Time Wednesday and after 7 a.m. Thursday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Greasy Creek Cemetery. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.
