Lapsley Wilson Bagby

Lapsley Wilson Bagby was born August 27, 1932 in Green County, KY to the late Finis Alfred and Hattie Chaney Bagby. He departed this life Thursday, November 7, 2019 in Shepherdsville, KY, having attained the age of eighty-seven years, three months and ten days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He retired from General Electric after working as a metal finisher for 34 years. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Molinda Vanarsdale Bagby and his wife Margie Carter Bagby, brothers and sisters: Mary George, Coy, Roy, Mcado, Lenny, Joe, Henry and Oris (Toodlum) Bagby.

He is survived by three daughters: Patsy Pruitt and her husband Ronnie of Greensburg, Donna Walker and her husband Dave of Middletown, KY, Annette Pauline Caple and her husband Duane of Easley, South Carolina, two sons: Larry Wilson Bagby and his wife Connie of Jasper, Indiana, Steve Thomas Bagby and his wife Kim of Shepherdsville, KY, one sister and one brother: Elsie Cook and Johnny A. Bagby of Greensburg, eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Place and Time of Services: Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home - 2 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2019

Visitation: 11 a.m. Sunday

Officiating: Bro. Garnett Wayne Davis

Burial: Bethlehem Cemetery

Pallbearers: Steve Bagby, Sr., Richard Slough, Steve Bagby, Jr., Ricky Bagby, Russell Meredith, Charlie Allen

There will be a Masonic Service at 1 p.m. Central Time Sunday, November 10, 2019 by Greensburg Masonic Lodge 54 F&AM. All Master Masons are requested to meet at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home at 12:30 Central Time .

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy may be donations to the Bethlehem Cemetery Fund. These can be made at the funeral home.
