Kim Allen Smith

Mr. Kim Allen Smith was born to Rosie Lee (Groves) Smith on August 17, 1963 in Greensburg, Kentucky. He departed this life May 21, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, having attained the age of fifty-two years, nine months and four days.

Kim professed his faith in Christ at Mount Vernon Baptist Church at an early age. His humble heart touched everyone because he never met a stranger. His love of nature was truly a gift from God. He had a love of fishing whether it was on a river bank or out on a boat.

Preceding him in death: Mother, Rosie Lee Smith; Brother, Freddie Lee Smith; Grandparents, Eugene and Winnifred Groves. He leaves to cherish his memory: a son, Dylan Smith, Atlanta, Georgia; three sisters: Carol Shipp, Louisville, KY, Julia Hurd, Erie, Pennsylvania; Darlene (Steve) Foster, Atlanta, Georgia, two brothers: Ralph and James Kenneth Smith and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Kim Allen Smith will be conducted at 1 p.m., Central Time, Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bridgewater, Groves, Caldwell Cemetery with the Rev. Anthony Anderson, Eulogy and Rev. Mike Ash, Master of Ceremony officiating.

Visitation is requested from 11 until 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the funeral home.
