Josh Richard Gaskins

Josh Richard Gaskins was born September 10, 1991 in Taylor County, Kentucky to Richard E. and Diane Helm Gaskins of Green County.  He departed this life Sunday, February 9, 2020 in Maynardville, Tennessee, having attained the age of twenty-eight years, four months and twenty-nine days.

Josh was a 2010 graduate of Green County High School.  He enjoyed playing with his kids, coon hunting, demolition derby cars, welding and riding the backroads, listening to music and hanging out with his friends.  He is preceded in death by one son:  Maverick Gaskins, one sister:  Brittany Gaskins, grandparents:  Phillip and Wanda Gaskins and Avery and Etta Helm and great grandfather:  Paul Gaskins.

Besides his parents, he is survived by one son and three daughters:  Jeremy and Cardin Gaskins of Maynardville, Tenn., Sofia Goss Gaskins of Corbin, KY and Halli Bradshaw of Greensburg, great grandmother:  Charlene Gaskins of Columbia, one brother and one sister:  Jon and Jennifer Gaskins and Percilla Gaskins and Jairyd Smith of Greensburg, special girlfriend:  Alexandria Kingrey of Maynardville, Tennessee, special aunt:  Phyllis Gaskins of Columbia and special niece:  Avereigh Gaskins of Greensburg plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Josh Gaskins will be conducted 1 p.m., Central Time Saturday, February 15 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Shane Gaskins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Columbia Cemetery in Columbia, Kentucky.  Visitation is requested from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Central Time, Friday, February 14, 2020 and after 7 a.m., Central Time, Saturday at funeral home.
