John Henry Groves, Jr. was born on Thursday, October 27, 1955 to the late Louella Massey and John Groves, Sr. in Greensburg, Kentucky. He departed this life Friday, August 2, 2019 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY, having attained the age of sixty-three years, nine months and five days.
He is survived by his loving daughter: Heather Marshall-Victorio and her husband Cruz of Hodgenville, step children: Dustin Brewer of Hodgenville, Misty Farris of Glasgow, and Michael McAllister of Glasgow, God-son: Terry Thompson of Campbellsville, sister: Cindy Cable and her husband Jason of Campbellsville, brother Dennis Massie Groves of Hodgenville, special friend: Crystal Hornback of Radcliff, seven grandchildren: Austin Underwood and his wife Rebecca of Fort Campbell, KY, Emma Hernandez, Roxanna and Aubrei Victorio of Hodgenville, Rose Hernandez of Houston, Texas, Beatrice Vidal-Villanueva and her husband Alex of Elizabethtown and Jierad Underwood of Louisville, step grandchild: Dylan Brewer of Hodgenville, a host of step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews: Tonya Gowdy and her husband Bronson, Darius, Alyssa and Bryson Groves of Campbellsville and Sydney and Megan Shively and great nephew: “KeKe” Miller.
He is preceded in death by his mother Louella Massie Groves, his father John Groves, Sr., his brother Tony Michael Groves, a grandchild Stefani Victorio a great grandchild Scarlette Cade Underwood and his first wife Ronda McDonald and his second wife Patricia Farris.
John love to hunt, fish, camp, play music and have a good time. Anyone who knew him never had a bad thing to say about him. He loved yard sales, horse showing and coon hounds. He was one of a kind.
