James Monroe Jones

Mr. James Monroe Jones was born January 19, 1927, in Green County, Kentucky to the late Riley Thomas Jones and Lois Bloyd Jones. He departed this life Friday, May 20, 2022, at the Green Hill Manor Rehabilitation and Care, having attained the age of ninety-five years, four months and one day.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church. He retired from Ford Motor Company. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother: Billy Jones and one sister: Mary Eunice Johnson.
He is survived by his sister-in-law: Martha Jones of Greensburg; special friend: Angie Milby of Summersville; four nephews: Brian Jones of Greensburg, Randall Johnson of Rineyville, Mike Johnson of Florida and Bruce Johnson of Summersville; several great nieces and nephews, plus a host of other relatives and friends.
A Private Funeral Service for Mr. James Monroe Jones will be conducted 12 P.M., Central Time, Monday, May 23, 2022, at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Greg Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow in the Bloyds Perkins Cemetery.
A public visitation will be 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
