Gregory A Burress

Mr. Gregory A. Burress, of Greensburg was born November 20, 1951 in Jefferson County, KY to the late George Olin Burress and Margery Adelle Tucker Burress. He departed this life on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at his home, having attained the age of 71 years 6 months and 14 days.

He had made a profession of faith and was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Green County High School, received a Bachelor’s Degree and was the owner of Greensburg Lumber Company for 35 years. He was also an active member of the Classical Glass Corvette Club.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law; Jerry Cope, father-in-law; Glenn Pruitt and sister-in-law:  Patricia Williamson.

He is survived by his wife Pamela Jane Burress, one daughter and son-in-law:  Shannon and Sean Buynak of Bloomfield, KY, two grandchildren:  Anissa and Tucker Buynak, sister:  Donna Cope of Frankfort, mother-in-law:  Maxideen Pruitt of Greensburg, three nieces:  Amy Miller of Frankfort, Beth and Leon Henderson of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, Aleisha and Cliff Coomer of Bowling Green, four great nephews:  Atley and Mason Henderson, Paxton and Zander Coomer, four great nieces:  Ellen Henderson, Peyton, Chandler and Spencer Miller, and special pet: Attie.

Funeral services for Gregory A. Burress will be conducted at 1 p.m. Central Time Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Todd Young Officiating and the Classical Glass Corvette Club members will be serving as Honor Guard.  Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8p.m. central time Wednesday and after 7 a.m. central time Thursday until time of the service at Foster Toler Curry Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Greensburg Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Sean Buynak, Tucker Buynak, Harold Cruise, Chris Dudgeon, Leon Henderson, Mason Henderson, and Atley Henderson. Honorary Pallbearers: Members of The Classical Glass Corvette Club.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to TC SPCA.  These can be made at the funeral home.
