Gladys Montgomery Johnson

Mrs. Gladys Montgomery Johnson was born June 29, 1935 in Green County, KY to the late Fred Montgomery and Mattie Belle Perry Montgomery. She departed this life Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY, having attained the age of eighty-one years, six months and thirteen days.

Mrs. Montgomery had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Methodist Faith. She was a retired school teacher and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association. Besides her parents, she Is preceded in death by her husband Henry E. Johnson.

She is survived by two brothers and one sister-in-law: William E. Montgomery of Taylor County and James and Karen Montgomery of Campbellsville and one sister and brother-in-law: Carol Sue and Gary Ferguson of Greensburg.

Visitation: 5 p.m. CT until 8 p.m. CT Sunday and after 7 a.m. CT Monday
