Geraldine Nelson was born February 19, 1932 in Green County, KY to the late Miles and Gracie Skaggs Graham. She departed this life Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY, having attained the age of eighty-four years, six months and three days.
Mrs. Nelson worked for American Needlecraft in Greensburg for 35 years. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Shelby Nelson, one daughter Martha Graham, four sisters and three brothers: Bertha Brown, Dorothy Howell, Juanita Wells, Dorline Thompson, James Hobert, Bill and Virgil Graham.
She is survived by one son: Junior Graham of Buffalo, one brother: Luther Graham of Louisville, one sister: Elva DeSpain of Mt. Sherman, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Geraldine Nelson will be conducted 11 a.m. Central Time Wednesday at Foster- Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Randy Buckles officiating. Burial will follow in the Greensburg Cemetery. The family has requested visitation from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Central Time Tuesday and after 7 a.m. Wednesday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.
