Mrs. Elaine Sapp Milby was born March 1, 1935 in Taylor County, KY to the late Ira Sapp and Margaret Colvin Sapp. She departed this life Monday, October 3, 2016 at her home In the Whitewood Community of Green County, having attained the age of eighty-one years, seven months and two days.
She had made a profession of faith Christ and was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. She worked at the Dime Store in Campbellsville, at Union Underwear and she was a homemaker and a farmer. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers: Doug, Wallace and Ralph Sapp.
She is survived by her husband Leonard Milby, three daughters and two sons-in-law: Linda and Terry Martin of Greensburg, Sandy and Tim Edwards of Campbellsville and Lorrie Knifley of Green County, one sister: Pauline Wise of Campbellsville, her sister-in-law: Ann Akin of Greensburg, four grandchildren: Andrea and Ethan Edwards, Jessica Martin Noble and her husband Bobby Noble, Jr. and Dylan Knifley.
Funeral services for Mrs. Elaine Sapp Milby will be conducted 3 p.m. Central Time Friday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Durham officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery in Green County. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. til 8 p.m. Thursday and after 7 a.m. Friday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.
