Mrs. Edith Lile Squires was born May 8, 1930 in Green County, KY to the late Wayne and Ida Oaks Lile. She departed this life Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the Golden Living Center/Green Hill Manor in Greensburg, having attained the age of eighty-six years, seven months and three days.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church. She was owner/operator of Edith Squires Grocery in the Exie Community of Green County. Besides her parents she was preceded in death April 1, 1970 by her husband, Russell Squires. Also preceding her in death are one brother and one sister: Floyd Lile and Marge Kessler.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Pamela and Joshua Zeissig, three grandchildren: Victoria Bright of Bowling Green, Dylan Bright and Dalton Zeissig of Greensburg, two sisters: Clydene Bagby of Campbellsville and Ann Mahoney of Elizabethtown and a special cousin and friend: Maydell Moran of Greensburg, plus a host of other relatives and friends
