Dorothy Bonta

Mrs. Dorothy Bonta was born June 19, 1936 in Green County, KY to the late Kenneth Boss Pickett and Ellen Dudley Pickett. She departed this Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, having attained the age of eighty-two years, ten months and five days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Ladies Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a cook at Green Hill Manor Nursing Home and a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death October 20, 1963 by one son: William Kenneth Bonta.

She is survived by her husband: Winfred Bonta, one daughter: Debra Jean Fuqua and her husband Tony of St. Petersburg, Florida, two grandchildren: Jordan and Abigail, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Edith Pickett, Joyce and Bill Simpson, Savada Arnett, Wilburn and Connie Bonta, Homer and Brenda Simpson and Alisha Bonta, all of Greensburg.

Place and Time of Services: Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home - 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019

Visitation: after 5 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2019 and after 7 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019

Pallbearers: Craig Whitlock, Steve Pickett, Allen Pickett, Dwayne Pickett, David Smith, Troy Arnett, Mark Bonta, James Bonta

Honorary Pallbearers: Idus Pickett, Hayden Pickett, Nieces and Nephews.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the WHAS Crusade for Children or to the charity of choice. These can be made at the funeral home.
