Doris Long Hickerson

Mrs. Doris Long Hickerson was born November 22, 1934 in Madisonville, KY to the late Jack and Geneva Long. She departed this life Monday evening at the Greensburg Retirement Home in Greensburg, having attained the age of eighty-one years, six months and thirty days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church. She was employed at Fruit-of-the-Loom and at the Green County Country Club. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons: Joe Hickerson, Jr. and Kenneth Ray Hickerson.

She is survived by her husband Joe Hickerson, two sons: Ricky Hickerson and his wife Tammy and Marty Hickerson and his companion Sherri Whitlow, all of Greensburg, four grandchildren: Zachary and Ezra Hickerson, Litisha Milby and Jill Shipp, four great grandchildren: Emma and Payton Hickerson, Dagyn Joe Milby and Bentley Wayne Forman, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation: 5 p.m. til 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 7 a.m. Thursday

Interment In: Greasy Creek Cemetery, Exie Community of Green County
