Dixie (Milby) Marcum

Mrs. Dixie Milby Marcum age of one hundred and two years, six months and twenty-seven days passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the Louisville East Post-Acute in Louisville, Kentucky due to Covid-19 complications. Born October 6, 1917, she was the last surviving child of the late Nears C. Milby and Sarah Lee Madden Milby. She is preceeded in death by seven brothers and six sisters.

Survivors include two children William C. Marcum (Lisa) and Jane Pettit (Greg) all of Lousiville, Kentucky. Five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and executive order by the Kentucky Governor Beshear, the services for Mrs. Dixie Milby Marcum will be conducted privately with Bro. Leslie Jewell officiating, burial will follow in the Green County Memory Gardens.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Gideon Bible Fund and these can be made at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.
