Billy Wayne Skaggs , 80 entered eternal life peacefully at his home on Friday, August 3, 2018 in Louisville, KY. Billy was born June 19, 1938 in Green County, KY to Cleavy and James Frank Skaggs.
He loved his family, enjoyed traveling, watching his favorite minister (Jesse Duplantis), old westerns and classic TV, working crossword puzzles, reading and watching Jeopardy (everyone knew not to call him). He was affectionately referred to as “Pop”. He was a beloved Dad, grandfather, great- grandfather, brother, friend and so much more. He will truly be missed. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Donald, his sister Margie and her husband Albert and sister-in-law Priscilla.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Regina (Bryan), Steve (Tina), Michael; four grandchildren, Melissa, Joshua, Miranda and Mikenzi, mother of his children, Loretta Skaggs, six great-grandchildren: Meredith, Mikala, Alex, Esa, Xavier, Olivia, brothers: Gene and Kenneth (Priscilla), special friend Maybelle and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment In: Wilson Cemetery, Summersville Community
Visitation: 5-8:00 PM Ct Monday, August 6th, 2018
