Mrs. Almeda Juanita Miranda Haskins was born June 3, 1935 in Hull, Yorkshire, England to the late James Alfonso Miranda and Ida Evelyn Parkinson Miranda.  She departed this life Friday, September 18, 2020 at the University of Louisville Hospital, having attained the age of eighty-five years, three months, and fifteen days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith.  She was the Librarian for the Green County School System and PTA president for several years and was a member of the Greensburg/Green County Civic Club and was gifted seamstress. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter: Melora Jasmine Erby; three brothers: Louie Miranda, Leon Miranda, and Maurice Miranda.

She is survived by her husband William (Bill) Haskins of Greensburg; two sons: Charles William Haskins of Louisville and John Madison Erby, Jr. of Baltimore Maryland; three grandchildren: Baileigh Haskins, Kyle Halle-Erby, and Alice Halle-Erby; two great-grandchildren: Dakayla Hawkins and Zodi Kyle Gamal; one sister: Mafalda “Miffy” Miranda of California; Plus, a host other relatives and friends.

A public walk-through visitation is requested, Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Eastern Time, at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.

Due to COVID-19 concerns following the walk-through visitation, funeral services for Mrs. Almeda Juanita Miranda Haskins will be conducted privately, Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Miller. Eulogy and Rev. David Mitchell, Master of Ceremony. We and the family encourage everyone to view the service on Facebook live on the funeral home’s Facebook page at 1 p.m., Eastern Time. Cremation will follow the funeral service.

Also due to COVID-19 concerns the family will not be hosting a Repass.
